Demographics and psychographics

  1) Age, Gender, Education, Social class, Race/ethnicity, Job/profession/earnings and Home(city/village/countryside). 2) Because the companies want to advertise to their target audience. 3) The Aspirer,  The Explorer, The Reformer, The Succeeder, The Resigned, The Struggler and the Mainstreamer. 4) The aspirer seeks status, the explorer seeks discovery, the reformer seeks enlightenment, the succeeder seeks control, the resigned seeks to survive, the struggler seeks escape and the mainstreamer seeks security.  5) I think the psychographic groups i belong in is the mainstreamer. This is because i only buy from brands or companies that i think are reliable or that satisfy my need for the product or i think are worth my money.

Camera movement and editing

1) Crane, Zoom, and Handheld. We can see the crane when the officer comes down from the sky to confront the criminal. We see Zoom when the criminal looks at another person on the train. Then we see handheld when the other officers are coming down and the camera starts to shake. 2) Cut, and fade. This makes the audience think that this is an action or science fiction story, from the editing of one scene to another. 3) Crane and Zoom. This is because these shots make the audience feel like this is an action film from the two people looking at each other to the police officers coming to catch the man.

Blog feedback and learner response.

WWW: I’m really impressed with your blog work so far – you have made an excellent start to GCSE Media. Your fruit bowls are absolutely stunning and also show you were able to take on the tricky extension task with ‘paste into’ used brilliantly. Keep up the good work!     EBI :   The key area to work on is the depth and detail of your written work – for example, for denotation and connotation you could offer more for the ‘connotation’ and ‘analysis’ parts as this is where you need to offer a range of meanings to access the top levels. Similarly, for the Stranger Things analysis you need to say much more about the potential connotations or deeper meanings that each aspect of mise-en-scene communicates.   LR : Create a new blogpost on your Media blog called ‘Blog feedback and Learner Response’. Copy and paste this WWW/EBI feedback into your blogpost then complete the LR tasks/questions below. Reflect on your first month of Media. What do you feel is your s...

This camera shot is a medium shot. This is when a character has put a tube into a machine. His expression seems to be in a rush as he wants to save someone that is lost. Camera angles: 2:22 . This makes the audience think that he does important work or that he's an impor...
